An era when "rap" was trying to define it self and split into 2 segments, "hip hop" (club music for dancing) and "Gangsta" (music about the problems being a black youth in america). Hip hop was always more marketable so it has become dominant.
i've never heard about choclair, he's pretty cool. How was this out of my radar for so many years? i mean, im not from the states, but i know a lot about rap. Thanks for the song!
